Bid to resist fatal accident

Kolkata Traffic Police have come up with an innovative idea to ensure the properness of wearing helmets for bike riders. There are some instances where fatal incidents are taking place because the straps of the helmets are not tightened properly. Cops launched this  drive because they have seen in 12%-15% cases where victimscould have survived if their helmets were worn properly. The Kasba Traffic guards have kicked off the program saying that helmet should not be worn just to escape traffic fines rather to save own lives. They also instructed 25 traffic guards to ensure that helmets are worn in proper manner. By not wearing strap and not wearing them in right gear is marking the helmet as useless stuff. To add the steps taken, the helmet should have ISI mark properly, the size of the helmet should be  proper, it should snug on properly, and the helmet should fit.
