Fakhrul Arefeen Khan directed ‘Bhuban Majhi’, the critically acclaimed film and it was released in Bangladesh last year in March. This movie got a tremendously positive response from the audience.
The management did its best to release the film in India but had to comply with certain rules and regulations by CBFC to get complete clearance. Good news is that the film will finally release in Kolkata but as part of the SAFTA (South Asian Free Trade Area) agreement.
‘Bhuban Majhi’ features Parambrata Chattopadhyay from Tollywood and Aparna Ghose who is a popular actor from Bangladesh. Late Kalika Prasad Bhattacharya was the music director for this movie. Fakhrul Arefeen Khan had made three documentaries that received rave reviews from the critics and the viewers alike. We are sure that this movie will not disappoint.
