F3 Incorporation is an organization which has always promoted the craftsmanship of Bengal. They have motivated the weavers of West Bengal to showcase their art and craft. To help them bring their talent into the limelight, F3 Incorporation held an award show at Nazrul Mancha on 18th August, 2018.
Rajarshi Das, the founder of F3 Incorporation has beautifully woven a tapestry of ethnicity through the “Weavers and Boutique Designer Awards 2018”. The event was graced by eminent personalities like actors Sonalee Chaudhuri and Ritojit, makeup artist Anirban Chaklader, Professor Sengupta, ace designer Sarbari Dutta, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Self Help Group & Self-Employment, Sri Sadhan Pandey and actor Ritojit.
Founder Rajarshi Das started a journey seven years back, touring rural Bengal extensively. Twelve districts were nominated and their intricate designs showcased through fashion sequences choreographed by renowned fashion designer Tejas Gandhi.The winner was Subhash Chakraborty from Malda, 1st runner-up was Bhagirath Badiya (24pgns North) and the 2nd runner-up was Mafuza Begum (Birbhum).The show felicitated women weavers also.
The fashion show was judged by a designer Snehasish Bhattacharya, Tejas Gandhi, RimiNayak, Vivek Kumar and director Raja Chanda. When asked what the motto of F3 Incorporation is, one of the associates said, “It is our firm belief that Indian weavers and designers have the potential to become the backbone of India’s progress. We are really proud to conduct this fashion show.”
F3 Incorporation’s next step is to take this event to an Indo-Bangladesh platform. They will host the same event in Bangladesh as well.
