Bengalis are one of the sweetest people you will ever come across in your life. It’s not difficult to spot a Bengali in a crowd, but there are certain things which differentiate the bangalis of Bengal from the rest. No matter what the discussion is about, a true bangali will always have their opinion and will be loud enough to be recognized and considered. Every corner of Bengal has a chaa er dokan which is always crowded with some over opinionated kakus playing cards and declaring “Rabindra Sangeet” is the only good music that the world has. We cannot deny that most Bengalis are talented in the fields of music and art; it is because all of us were goaded into these classes of almost everything! But we definitely don’t regret it later. You cannot beat the obsession that a bangali has for their biryani. You just cannot argue about the biryani of Bengal with a bangali and of course, maach and bhaat is a must in almost every afternoon unless it’s a niramish day/ vegetarian day! A bangali’s best friend is their afternoon nap and their paashbalish, because for us bangalis, “lyadh e jibon”. Yes, we are never ashamed to agree that we are lethargic. Bengal has always been known for its rich culture and their take in literature. Bangalis never give a second thought when it comes to spend their money on food or books.
Bengalis are recognized in all corners of the world for the way they are and evidently loved by all.
