Rubaru is a pan India Initiative in association with I-Glam that looks forward not only to beauty but also is dedicated in promoting the protection of girl child. The pageant welcomes both woman and men who aim to achieve and identify their personal values and strengths.
I-Glam held a press conference to announce their first Edition of Mr and Miss India in Kolkata at Press Club on 11th November. The occasion witnessed the presence of Ddevjani Mitra (MD I-Glam East India Director of Rubaru Group), Burzin Bharucha (Mumbai Socialite), Parul Sehgal (State Director- Kolkata), Sabi Lodhi (State Coordinator), Ritu Saluja (Groomer), Bobby Agarwal, Irani Mitra (State Coordinator) and Sujoy Biswas (CEO of Techno India). Rubaru from time to time has always been dedicated to serve the society in some way or the other. This time through Mr and Miss India, they will highlight ‘Save Girl Child’ issue. The campaign was started as a concern over the declining sex ration of the girl child. Hence, with this beauty pageant, they will campaign for the strong cause.
Rubaru Mr and Miss India Kolkata will be held on 16th November, 2019. A rigorous round of auditions has been held to culminate young talents who will be further groomed by talented industry professionals. 5 contestants each from Kolkata will be given the title of Mr and Miss Bengal. Later, Rubaru Mr.India will be hosting their final round of auditions in Mumbai in April 2020 and Miss India finals will be held in Delhi in March 2020. Conversing with Jiyo Bangla, Ddevjani Mitra said: “We want to give opportunity to those who are deserving candidate. This time we are coming up with ‘Save Girl’ child campaign and we will take this initiate forward.”
