Arunima Ghosh grabs the post of an IPS officer in Satrajit Sen's upcoming “Michael” and it should be noted that there are very few artists in media right now to suit this profile. A woman in her 30s has done a pretty good job in “Michael”. Arunima is a common face in Bengali film industry and now she is acutely tangled in movies. She considers in being in a good character rather than doing any lead.
In “Michael”, she is the cop whose only duty is to keep an eye on Mayurbahan alias the legendary Soumitra Chatterjee so that he leads his life in a virtuous way and stop philandering. She is extremely excited to be a part of Sen's forthcoming movie and she postulates the huge success of “Michael”.
It is Tina aka Arunima who brings Michael to Mayurbahan to get featured in a movie but Mayurbahan is beyond control and fails to get out of his typical habits of addiction and flirting.
The journey of “Michael” is special to Arunima because here she has worked with Soumitra Chatterjee rather to be precise against him. Most of her screen presence was with Chatterjee only.
