Arpita Pal was out of film industry for a pretty long time after her marriage with Prosenjit Chatterjee. She focused mainly on family but now that their son has grown up, she has started pursuing her career goals once again.
Arjun Dutta is bringing her to the big screen with ‘Abyakto’, the mother-son poignant tale. Arpita Chatterjee will be portraying the role of both the characters of late 20s and early 50s. The story is all about a young boy’s journey of life from childhood to adolescence and finally a man. The turmoil, relationship quo and the mysterious situations will be defining the life of the characters. The story will be about the love, sadness, regret, loneliness and the identity crisis of the leading characters. It is genuinely tough for any actor to carry out both the roles with ease. We wish her all the best!
The movie hit the floors on 20th May 2018. Apart from Adil, Debjani Chatterjee, Kheya Chattopadhyay, Pinky Banerjee, Lily Chakraborty and Samontak Maitra will also be a part of the movie. “The flashback and the present-day are juxtaposed exquisitely and it’s challenging to portray the different age groups at the same time” said Arpita.
