The beginning of the Yule-tide has never been so much thrilling for those under-privileged kids, who was gifted a fun-filled activity day, “Muskaan” organised by Assorted Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. along with Novotel Kolkata and Residence in co-operation with Rotaract Club of Sonar and Rotaract Club of Amtala. Accompanied by the Tolly-celebs like Arpita Chatterjee, Pallabi Chatterjee, Tota Roychowdhury, these kids were engaged in decorating Christmas tree, cake-cutting ceremony, visiting the pool-side for fun-filled games, gifted with gifts from Santa and other eventful activities.
“It is a great initiative taken by Ram Kamal Mukherjee. I am glad that he is taking initiative in spreading his wings beyond journalism,” says Tollywood actress Arpita Chatterjee.
“I was overwhelmed when I entered Novotel and saw a bunch of beautiful kids playing around Christmas tree and Santa Clause. Today, when the world seems dark, such initiatives by Ram Kamal will definitely add a lot of Muskaan”, says veteran Tollywood actress Pallabi Chatterjee.
Tollywood’s original six-packed hero Tota Roychowdhury was seen to be enjoying with the kids in a gala cake-cutting ceremony with Novotel, Bhojohari Manna, Nari & Argobbhawva. He said, “I think what Assorted Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. did today is something which should be practiced by all. I personally know Ram Kamal and Sarbani for more than a decade and they are like a family to me. Though I am shuffling between Mumbai and Kolkata for my work commitments, I made sure that I take some time out for these lovely kids.”
And how can we miss the most fascinating high-spirited teenage heartthrob, Aryann Bhowmick from the movie Yeti Abhijaan, who was seen happy with these kids, expressed his heart-out, “I love to spend time with kids because they love me the most. My character Shantu from Kakababu series is most popular among them. If my presence can bring smile to these faces I will be more than happy to do it over and over again.”
