The shooting locations spanned Durgapur, Bolpur, and various spots in Kolkata, culminating in the completion of filming in the city. The lead roles are portrayed by Swastika, playing a journalist, and Vikram, essaying the character of a expert police officer. The film delves into unravelling the secrets behind a series of murders, with the collaboration of the two characters.
Apart from the lead duo, 'Durgapur Junction' boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anusuya Majumdar, Ekavali Khanna, Rajdeep Sarkar, and Pradip Dhar. The cinematography responsibilities lie with Prasenjit Chaudhuri, while post-production is underway, aiming for a release in March–April 2024.
