The Health Department of West Bengal decided to conduct an anti-measles campaign in all the private schools which are affiliated to various central boards in January, besides state govt-aided educational institutions. The latest notification issued by the Health Department to all the district magistrates and Chief Medical Officers of Health, all the private schools will be included in the anti-measles campaign. The vaccination would be conducted at free of cost across the state and apart from the school children, others from Anganwadi centers and those under the Village Health Nutrition Day campaign would be administered anti-measles vaccine from November 29 to December 22.
