Hoichoi came up with one of the most popular Tagore stories ‘Laboratory’ this Rabindra Jayanti. This special film was streamed online to pay tribute to the legendary Rabindranath Tagore.
The film was all about Nandakishore Mallik, an engineer of Indian Railways who dreamt of a nation full of scientists working without caring about the financial hindrances. He sets up his own laboratory with instruments and carries out experiments over there. He gets married to Sohini, a Punjabi lady and she finally gives birth to a cute girl Neela. After Nandakishore’s death, his wife searches for a young talent who can take the charge of the lab. Sohini discovers Rebati for this job but Neela distracts Rebati. Thereafter, a tussle between Neela and Sohini ensues...
