In celebration of talent and creativity, Angel Creations is organising a special award ceremony titled "National Pride Awards" in the realm of Bengali entertainment. Over the years, numerous Bengali artists have been bestowed with national-level accolades, be it for their contributions to music, acting, or craftsmanship. However, rarely has there been a dedicated platform to exclusively honour them for their achievements. This initiative by Angel Creations seeks to rectify that, providing a stage where Bengali talents can be celebrated on a national scale.
The list of attendees is extensive, with renowned figures such as Pravat Roy, Aparna Sen, Mithun Chakraborty, Srijit Mukherji, and many others slated to grace the occasion. Additionally, luminaries from the Tollywood industry are expected to join the festivities, making it a star-studded affair.
Speaking about the initiative, the organisers expressed their pride in showcasing the talents of individuals hailing from Bengal on a national platform. They believe that honouring Bengali artists in this manner not only recognises their contributions but also instills a sense of pride within the Bengali community.
Recently, filmmaker Ramkamal Mukherjee clinched a national award for his Hindi movie ‘Duya’. Mukherjee, a proud Bengali, emphasised the significance of receiving national recognition and how it adds to the sense of nostalgia, inspiring others in the state to strive for excellence.
Actress Rupa Ganguly, another recipient of a national award, echoed similar sentiments, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to relive past achievements and emphasising the importance of honouring national award winners from Bengal.
