Kolkata has repeatedly proven that it indeed deserves the title of the City of Joy. Ambarish Mitra a citizen of Kolkata, who was present on an episode of Ted Talks with Shah Rukh Khan, has yet again testimony to the fact that Kolkatans wear their heart on their sleeves.
Ted Talks which is a very popular show, in this instance presented Ambarish Mitra (an entrepreneur who was declared as the ‘Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum 2017’ and also ‘Entrepreneur of the year’ by Ernst & Young in 2016) who has come up with the power of the computer and the vision of how it can empower people who are illiterate. Ambarish says that this can affect as many as 750 million people all over the world and can help them in achieving the impossible as curiosity is way more effective than vocabulary.
He stressed on creating something new through the diverse ideas which surround him and Ted Talks is helping not just him but more enthusiasts like him to build a better world around them to live in.
