Actor Akshay Kumar’s costume has been put up for auction and the price has already risen to INR 5crore 25 lakhs and one thousand. ‘Khiladi’ Kumar in ‘Rustom’ wore the costume, two years back. Money from the auction will be donated to an NGO named ‘Janice Trust’.
Beside Akshay’s costume, there was also Anushka Sharma and Sonam Kapoor’s costumes worn by them in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Khoobsurat’ respectively along with Ranbir Kapoor’s costume from ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’. The benchmark set for the starting price in the auction is Rs.10 thousand for all costumes except Akshay’s and Hrithik’s costume from ‘Krissh’. 28 days remain for the auction to conclude, but for now, Akshay’s costume is leading the auction race.
