On the evening of 5th March, the prestigious Press Club of Kolkata witnessed the press meet of "Akashee Pullover".
The Director, Orpheus Mukhoty started the occasion announcing, "This project is unique and it's like a dream come true". The film was shot in an astonishing period of 5 days and the post production was completed in the next 6 days which in itself is an achievement seldom seen. It set a new world record as an 88 minutes long movie which was shot and produced in a period of just 11 days! This feat also ensured that the movie got a green light to be presented in the Cannes International Film Festival.

Samadarshee, who is one of the actors in the movie, stated that the real heroes behind the scenes deserve a special recognition, especially the post production team who worked tirelessly through days and nights. He encouraged everyone to go and watch the movie in theaters when it arrives after making its journey through the film festivals around the globe.

Ratnamanjulika Mukhoty, the person behind the story and the screen play was also overjoyed and excited as she said, "This is a special moment, and what makes it more special is that I am working with my brother."
When asked about her inspiration behind it all, she said, "The story is based on lonely old women of our society who have lost their better halves and live in a solitary shell and still take up the mantle to run a household, so the inspiration came just by looking because there are a lot of people around us living these lives".
