Prabhas and Kriti’s ‘Adipurush’ film was released yesterday, June 16, in theatres all over the country. This film is based on the Epic ‘Ramayana’.
Days before the release of the film, the director Om Raut requested every movie theatre owner across India to reserve a special seat for Lord Hanuman. He said, “Everywhere in the world, wherever there is an Adipurush show, I request the producer and distributor to keep one seat for Hanuman ji; he will come to see Ramayan.” Everybody believes that Lord Ram’s devotee, Hanuman, always witnesses the epic Ram Katha story being told.
It turns out that the cinema theatre owners have listened to the Adipurush team’s request and are taking every necessary step seriously.
The owners said that not only are they keeping a special seat, but they are also keeping Hanuman Ji’s idol or photo decorated with flowers and garland. Even some multiplex cinema halls have created a special ‘Hanuman Chowki’ for the screening of this movie. Also, they have said that after the movie goes off the screens, the special chowki will be donated to temples.
Many fans have been sharing pictures of Hanuman Ji’s dedicated seat on social media. It was seen that some people also brought Hanuman idols with them to the theatre and decorated the special seat with marigold garlands and fruits.
