Paint our world (POW) and ITC sonar, presented the “Agapi-2” an art exhibition towards empowering underprivileged children who have been through traumatic experiences like abuse and rape. Following the beautiful success of Agapi-1, 2016, this year also Agapi-2 showcased and worked for the same cause. The beautiful evening of art, dance and celebration at ITC Sonar, Welcome Art Gallery was held on 17th March from 6 pm onwards.
The event was attended by eminent personality’s like- Baishali Dalmiya- Member of Legislative Assembly, Bridgette Jones, Richa Sharma - Mrs India International, Rita Bhimani, Minu Bhudia, Vibhu Kejriwal, Mrs Alka Jalan, Mr and Mrs Poddar along with many more eminent personalities. The event was also graced by an all women entrepreneur team from all over Kolkata. 6 Art galleries in the city collaborated and over 100 artists both National and International came together to exhibit their work with that of Paint our World children. All artists donated their artwork for charity and the exhibition was held with zero monetary cost. Famous artist like Manoj Mitra’s master creation was especially portrayed at Agapi 2.
