A fun-filled event at Extraa Time

Cricket is almost worshipped and considered a religion in this nation, especially in Kolkata. The Gentleman’s game is truly an apt name for the sport. Be it gully cricket or a jam-packed stadium at Eden Gardens, you will get to observe Kolkata cricket lovers turning up in huge numbers with the utmost enthuasiasm. The love for sports in this city is second to none and irrespective of whether itsFootball, Cricket, Kabaddi orVolleyballthe ‘City of Joy’ has always been upbeat about any sports event.

To witness the delirious craze over cricket,Jiyo Bangla (Proud Digital Partner) was present at the ‘Professional Premier League-2019’ event. A fun-filled cricket tournament among 6 teams was organized at ‘Extraa Time’, Russelstreet. Jiyo Banglawas there to cover the Trophy Unveiling Ceremony at 6 pm. Kolkata created the right kind of buzz and the excitement just increased exponentially. The event started around 4 pm and continued till 7. The participation of the professionals, taking time out of their busy schedule, definitely brought about some refreshment on a mundane Sunday afternoon. The final match will be held on 20^th January 2019.It was an electrifying atmosphere at Extraa Time, with balls being knocked around the park and all the players thoroughly enjoying themselves, much to the delight of the cricket fanatics.

The fun-filled event was organized by Terapanth Professional Form (Social Partner) along with Jiyo Bangla (Proud Digital Partner) to cover the whole event. The event comprises 6 teams: Rahi Rangers, Kundalia Knight Riders, Staedtler super kings, TTHi-Flyers, GST Dost Dynamos, andVICOM Sunrisers. The amount of energy and zeal the teamsdisplayed was commendable.

Jiyo Bangla witnessed those lofted shots and artistry from delivered by each player. The best part, PPL will be conducted next year, making it a vast,and prominent event and is destined to create an impact!!!
