The 42nd Edition of the Kolkata International Book Fair was facing a dilemma in choosing a place for the fair as this time the State Government decided to shift the Book Fair from the Milan Mela Grounds to some other place. After hunting for suitable places the State Government, Publishers, Bookseller Guild and organisers of the annual Book Fair has finally decided upon Setting up this year’s Book Fair in Central Park, Salt Lake.
30th January at 4.30pm is the inauguration time for the 42nd edition of The International Book Fair and it is to continue till the 11th February from 12pm-8pm. This time the Book Fair is heard to be decorated with France as its theme. So, finally that time of the year has arrived, which book lovers wait for the whole year. The International Kolkata Book Fair looks forward to a heavier crowd this year.
