It is actually the drift of the Tollywood directors to target their film releases during the Bengali New Year because these occasions are in fact the time when viewers hit the theatres the most.
This year Poila Boisakh is also not an exception and the chosen directors of Tollywood are heading towards their releases during this time only. Kaushik Ganguly is all set to release his “Drishtikon” on Polia Baisakh i; e the very first day of Bengali New Year and Aniket Chattopadhyay has also geared up for his “Kabir” on the very same date.
Interestingly Producer Kaustav Ray is in some clank with Aniket Chattopadhyay because Ray was thinking of releasing “Shankar Mudi” on the same date. This movie is also directed by Chattopadhyay. So he is not willing to back the producer in this respect. It appears he is in antagonism with himself only.
But the movie buffs are keen to enjoy all the three movies whereas the internal clatter of the directors and producers are reportedly going on till date.
