Pawan Sharma, a 12 year old boy from North Dinajpur has recently turned his bicycle into a motorcycle. Sharma is currently studying in class 8 in a private school in his locality. He turned his cycle into a bike by fitting an engine, a petrol tank, disk brakes, a dynamo and other necessary accessories to his cycle, for which he doesn’t have to paddle the cycle anymore. The motorcycle runs quite smoothly in a standard speed and has even got its own self-start system. The motor cycle gives a mileage of approximately 80 Km per litre. Pawan reported that it cost him 18,000 RS and completed the whole project on his own. Pawan even showed his masterpiece to the District Magistrate of North Dinajpur, who appreciated his innovation and applauded.
